Erin grew up in a loving home but was not raised going to church every Sunday and did not understand the importance of Christ as her savior until that all changed in February 2009 when she came to know Christ after her husband Trent invited her to church when she was 20 years old.
In the years since, Erin has grown in her faith and has truly understood her dependence on Christ and what He did for her on the cross. After serving in different areas of their former church, Erin and Trent felt God calling them somewhere else and began visiting Edmond’s First in May 2018 and joined the following July after affirmation from God.
Erin and Trent have been married since 2010 and have two children, MaKenzi and Tanner. Erin is very family oriented and her church family is no exception. She loves camping, spending time with her kids and husband, playing board games with her family, and watching a good musical!
Erin’s favorite verses are:
“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”
- Isaiah 40:8
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
- Isaiah 55:8-9
