Edmond's First has multiple ways to get connected, serve, and volunteer on the church campus and within the church family.
Do you have a calling or desire to serve in the Preschool Ministry at Edmond's First Baptist? For birth - kindergarten, children participate in activities that will help them learn more about Jesus and how they too can begin to care for others as they study the ministries of Jesus.
SIGN UPDo you have a calling or desire to serve in the Children's Ministry at Edmond's First Baptist? For 1st-5th grades, KIDS stands for Kingdom, Intimacy, Discipleship, and Service. This is a place where worship gets your child energized and excited about the God we serve. In Connection Groups we provide an intimate time to nourish your child in the love of Christ through discipleship and service projects.
SIGN UPDo you have a calling or desire to serve in the Student Ministry at Edmond's First? There are many ways you can be involved. For 6th-12th grades, we strive to help students be more deeply connected to God and each other. Through prayer and Bible study students experience God together in community. Connection Groups are a place for students to ask questions about the Bible, life, and to find support through prayer and God’s Word for their needs. Sign up below to get connected:
SIGN UPDo you have a calling or desire to serve in the Media Ministry at Edmond's First? There are many ways you can be involved. Media is the behind the scenes ministry which supports the vision of Edmond's First primarily on Sundays and Wednesdays. There is a place for you to serve operating a camera, controlling lyrics, or operating the lights. Contact Stuart Holland for more information.
SIGN UPWhat is a First Impressions team member? They are the first to open a door, give a smile or welcome someone to Edmond’s First. Whether a person has been a church member for years or this is their first time stepping on campus, a warm welcome is waiting for them. You do not have to be the most outgoing or have a bubbly personality, just a heart to make someone feel welcome and inviting at church.
Many who come to Edmond’s First have not been to church or are intimated by the process. A warm greeting and helpful attitude can ease those feelings. If you want to be a part of the First Impressions team, contact Brooke Gillin by signing up below or stop by a Welcome Desk in the Main Foyer on Sunday mornings.
Become a part of the Homebound Ministry. Giveback an hour of God’s time to “touch a heart.” Read a scripture passage, say a prayer, or simply hold a hand and listen. Be ready to receive showers of blessings as you serve the Lord by serving others.
