Young Adults Ministry

Whether you are a recent college graduate, a newly married couple, or someone looking around the corner at paying for college for your kids, you are still a young adult to us!  You may not feel like a "young" adult every day, but at Edmond's First Baptist Church, a young adult is any adult age 49 and younger. 

There are a variety of classes and small groups that minister to young adults and a large number of our members fit into this category.  We offer a variety of classes for just about everyone and we encourage our guests to visit in more than one Bible study class before selecting one as your "Sunday School" class.

Being a young adult is about so much more than our age!  Sports teams, day trips to Dallas, train trips, or just enjoying an evening at a fun restaurant, EFBC's young adults have a lot going on.  For those who enjoy spending time with  friends, we offer a myriad of opportunities for fellowship.  Because many young adults are all about family, many of our social activities are designed to include our children.  Come join us for the fun, stay for the friendship and become a part of our family as we grow together!

Where do I go?

The answer to this depends on which class you want to visit or attend.  There are a number of classes for every age, learning style, and social interests.  There are classes for singles, married folks, internationals, and collegians.  If you are unsure where you'd like to start, stop by one of the Visitor Centers in the Worship Center Foyer and a  Worship Center host will help you select a class that meets your individual needs.  Once you select a class, you are encouraged to try several classes before settling down to learn and serve in just one.  Each time you visit Edmond's First Baptist Church one of our Worship Center hosts will be glad to help you find your way to whatever class you would like to try.  There is lot available, so take your time as you visit as many as appeal to you.

Ice Cream Cook-Off & Back to School Celebration

SATURDAY, August 23 at 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Edmond YMCA located at 1220 S Rankin. 

This event is for all young adults and their families.  Bring your favorite homemade ice cream.
