On Tuesday, October 1, the LIFE+ Ministry will meet in the Choir Room for the start of a monthly Hymn Sing. This first meeting will be a mini-concert presented by Jerry and Jessele Miller, in celebration of their 37 years of ministry at Edmond's First Baptist. After a Bible Study, we will have lunch together at Johnnies.
NOTE: while the Worship Center is being renovated, we are temporarily meeting in Fellowship Hall.
Worship in the Worship Center each Sunday at 9:30 AM for a blended service and 11:00 AM for a modern service. Greeters are available to answer any questions.
Connection Groups meet at 8:15 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:00 AM. You are encouraged to visit several classes before selecting the one that is the most comfortable fit for you. There are multiple opportunities with classes that meet in person, virtually, or both.
Saturday, December 7 in Dallas
We are thrilled to announce a special trip to the Prestonwood Church on Saturday, December 7, 2024, for their spectacular presentation of "The Gift of Christmas." This awe-inspiring production features 1,000 voices and performers, a breathtaking living nativity with camels, kings, flying angels, and stunning virtual scenery. The program begins with a lively secular segment featuring children, teenagers, and a magnificent choir, all highlighted by a unique musical score performed by the Prestonwood orchestra.
The cost for this incredible day is $169, which includes comfortable bus transportation, a lavish buffet lunch at Prestonwood exclusively for our group, and a ticket to the show. We’ll also make a stop at Buc-ees in Denton for a dinner break on the way home (dinner not included).
This trip is open to everyone in the church—bring your children and grandchildren! We always have families with us, and it’s a joy to share this experience together.
